A series of layers. Built from responses to the world around us merged with memory, place and being.
It’s pretty chaotic and messy in my head most of the time but creating these artworks help me keep… Calm? Keep order? Me turning my world outwards I guess? They make sense to me and I suppose that’s all I can really expect.
I’m not upset or dismissive when people don’t understand or like what I do. As soon as you turn what you’re making loose it’s free from whatever your intention was when creating it and that’s kind of beautiful.
